Which papers do Extended candidates sit?
Paper 2 and Paper 4. From the 2025 syllabus each is 2 hours and 100 marks, worth 50 percent each. Paper 2 is the non-calculator paper and Paper 4 allows a scientific calculator. Paper 1 and Paper 3 are Core, not Extended, so any resource describing Paper 2 as a short 70 mark paper is out of date.
Do the practice papers come with answers?
Yes. Each paper has a separate answers PDF with full worked solutions. The mark scheme uses the same M1, A1 and B1 codes as Cambridge, so you can see exactly where the method marks come from and why writing your working down matters.
